Just how big do you think the T20 world is? It’s huge! In the past year, over +1000 cricketers have participated in ICC sanctioned T20 leagues with over +570 games having been played between July 1st 2018 to June 30th 2019.
The T20 format has contributed to the evolution of cricket in general, like innovative shots such as the ‘scoop’, similarly, we’ve seen numerous bowling variations including the slower balls. To be able to survive the fast paced environment of the T20 world takes immense skill, training, practice, mental strength, and ability.
Today, almost every cricketing nation has a version of a T20 league, highlighting the popularity of the format. We’ve seen the women’s game grow immensely, with leagues such as the Womens Big Bash League, where we’ve witnessed some fantastic battles between bat and ball.

We have carefully selected 15 award categories to appreciate not only the cricketers (male and female, yes female!) but also many others involved who make T20 great. These include commentators (imagine watching a T20 game on mute), coaches (the un-sung heroes), team executives (off-field heroes), player agents (who manage and protect players), and more!
